On the 26th of April, 2024, the Nigerian Gas Association proudly celebrated the inauguration of its first-ever Student Chapter at the University of Port Harcourt. Though it was a few months ago, the memories of that incredible day filled with inspiration, learning, and networking still resonate with us.
Event Highlights:
Inspiring Keynote: Our Executive Secretary, Mr. Taji Ogbe, delivered a powerful keynote address that set an optimistic and ambitious tone for the future. His words were a beacon of hope and motivation for all attendees.
Dynamic Student Executives: We were thrilled to introduce our energetic student leaders Oluwaseyi Adeyehun, Titus Paul Oluwadunsin, Chidi Chinenye Blessing, Precious Falana, David Jones Umanah, Jeffrey Akpome, Paul Ueleebari Lawson, and Akaata Patricia. Their enthusiasm and vision were truly infectious, promising a bright future for the gas industry.
Engaging Roundtable: The discussion on “Navigating into the Gas Industry” was a highlight of the event. Industry experts shared invaluable insights and advice, providing a clear pathway for students aspiring to enter the sector.
